During his 25-year career in NDT/Quality recruiting, Serabian has used his skills as a speaker, trainer, and career consultant to develop effective recruiting strategies for top employers while also creating a vision for NDT/Quality careers. |
For client companies - ranging from industry giants like General Electric and United Technologies to start-ups - Serabian has helped to define and implement staffing solutions that use real-world tactics to build an effective workforce. For job seekers in all phases of their careers, his expertise and guidance enables PQNDT recruiters to accurately assess candidates' abilities and interests and develop individualized career plans.
Prior to joining PQNDT in 1982, Serabian was a Marketing Consultant for Exxon. At PQNDT, Serabian began as a Technical Recruiter before being promoted to Recruiting Sales Manager. He became company president in 1986, and has used his in-depth industry knowledge to guide PQNDT to the forefront of recruiting and establish a worldwide reputation for excellence.
Serabian holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts.

Founder Steven Serabian was a professor and research scientist who pioneered advanced nondestructive testing technologies. He established a one-of-a-kind Masters Program in Ultrasonics at the University of Massachusetts and received research grants from organizations that included General Electric, Westinghouse, Alcoa, and the United States military.
With so many friends and colleagues in the NDT community, Dr. Serabian was often asked by companies to "keep an eye open" for employees with NDT experience. Dr. Serabian's favors soon grew into a full-time pursuit of qualified personnel. In 1967 he founded Personnel for Nondestructive Testing, eventually adding a "Q" for Quality to meet the demand for expanded personnel services in the Quality Engineering field. Although Dr. Serabian is not involved with the day the day management of PQNDT, his vision continues a guiding principle.
